Ear, Nose, and Throat
Insertion of ear tubes is performed frequently at Cool Springs Surgery Center, particularly among pediatric patients. The quick process involves placement of a small incision in the eardrum followed by the insertion of tubes that work to prevent fluid accumulation and improve hearing.
Tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy commonly are performed to treat chronic, recurrent infections in the throat and ears. Tonsils and adenoids are cut or burned away, allowing the affected area to heal within one to two weeks.
Ear, Nose, and Throat also know as Otolaryngology.
